LD Entertainment is one of the biggest movie producers in Cambodia, we strive to bring fun and entertainment to people of all ages while fostering creatively and innovation through our movies. LD Entertainment has gradually transforming its business into a formal structured organization where it has been legally incorporated the business on October 16, 2019.

LD Entertainment has gradually evolving dramatically from producing low budget movies for local market audiences to producing featured movies and TV dramas, comedies, short film for both domestic and regional markets. Company’s ultimate and strategic decision to enter the regional markets is to capture larger and more diversified market audiences.

Leak Lyda

CEO and Film Director

LEAK Lyda was born on 03,July,1983 at Kompongthom province, Cambodia. He is a top class director who has directed numerous feature films, producer and script writer in Cambodia. He very talented with film industry but because there is no school which is specific about film so he decide to learned IT instead. In 2005, he graduated at Num University ( MIF ). In 2007 he works in Sky high production ( Thailand Company ). In 2011 manager and MV director at Rock Production. In 2012, he is a CEO of LD Picture production. He first became known to audiences and achieved a cult following with his directorial debut film ( Arb wear helmet I,II, 2012 ). All of Lyda’s films have been Cambodian productions. There are around 20 films which make by LD picture but in 2019, The Clock Spirits Awakening was receive award from Cambodia National film festival ( The best film of the year 2019, The best director of the year 2019, The best film editor of the year 2019, The best sound editor of the year 2019, The best actress and actor of the year 2019 ). Also received award from Horror Bowl, INDIA ( The best film of the year 2019, The best director of the year 2019 Mr. Lyda LEAK, The best actor of the year 2019 Mr. Piseth SORN ). In 2020, he is a director in project Red Wall but because of covid-19 situation everything was stuck. In 2022, he just completed project Grade 12E gerne horror, and the movie is still processing in post-production. Leak Lyna

General Manager and Producer

LEAK Lyna was born in Kompong Thom province in 1990. Graduated from Institute of Technology of Cambodia, as an Architect Engineering. In 2016, LEAK Lyna moving to film industry as the 2nd AD for TV drama. Soon after the drama ends, LEAK Lyna went to work as Production Manager in feature film. Since 2018, LEAK Lyna is the General Manager and Producer for TV Drama and Feature Film in LD Production. Nuon Molin

Writer

Nuon Molin is a screenwriter who was born in Chbar Morn, Kompong Speu Province. Since 2016, he has been working in the film industry. He has written many screenplays for feature films, web and TV series, and short films that have already screened in cinemas and digitally. Now he is the head of the writer department at LD Picture Production, one of the biggest film production companies in Cambodia. Molin works in many genres: Horror, Comedy, romance, and Drama. His biggest achievement, The Clock: Spirit Awakening, which has been released in Cinema since 2019, has been screened in seven countries in ASEAN and has been nominated in six national film competitions and three film competitions in India. Wishing Lollipops and 12E, which have been written by him, have also been nominated in the Cambodia International Film Festival (CIFF) as well. All of his horror and comedy films have been well-received in the country, both for their storytelling, quality, and production. Diep sovanndara He was born at Watbo village, Siem Reab district, Siem Reab Province. He is a Cambodian filmmaker, Script Writer and also Editor. He is very talented in film industry and he tries his best to learn it from his friend because in Cambodia there is no school which is specific about film. He first became known to audiences and achieved a cult following with his directorial debut film is ( Arb wear helmet I,II, 2012 ). All of Sovandara’s films have been Cambodian productions. Un Bunthouern is a multi-skilled filmmaker from the province of Battambang, Cambodia. Sprouting from a long held fascination with cinema, Bunthouern entered the industry as an editor and post-production supervisor for LD Picture Production, Cambodia’s top film studio. Since 2017 he has devoted his creative eye towards directing a variety of comedy, horror, and drama films, and has also written scripts for original concepts. He is the director of one the most unique and original films in Cambodian cinema that blends comedy, horror, fantasy, and romance - Wishing Lollipop. The film is recognized as advancing the genre of romantic comedy with striking performances from Cambodia’s most respected cast and technical crew. As of 2023, Un Bunthouern will continue to direct more feature films and supervise the up-and- coming generation of quality film producers in Cambodia.
