The highly praised Cambodian drama The Old Man has become the country’s highest-grossing film of 2026. Directed by Somchanrith Chap and written by Veacha Say, the film achieved critical acclaim and set a record with a 42-day theatrical run—the longest in Cambodia. It stars veteran actor Tep Rindaro alongside Bun Kaven, Taing Meng, Bella Danith, and Hailey Pheng. Recently named Best Film at the 2026 Legend Awards during Legend Cinema's 15th-anniversary milestone, The Old Man will soon head to the international film festival circuit.
